The upper connecting rod bearing shells are often a weak point. This can be remedied with the reinforced "SPUTTER" bearing shells. These are the well known and above all proven RS2 bearing shells.

4 sputter bearing shells are supplied for the top and 4 bearing shells for the bottom in normal design. Under no circumstances should sputter bearing shells be used at the top and bottom on the same rod.
