This line connects directly to your power steering pump with the supplied adapter and routes down low for extra clearence.

The rack side OEM line is to be cut at the join where the rubber section ends and the supplied fitting is welded on.  This welding can easily be done at home or a welding shop will be able to perform it.  By utilizing the OEM line it retains the accessibility of the banjo at the rack for future maintenance as well as protection from heat due to the routing of the OEM line behind and up high on he heat shield.

On first installation the straight end fitting  attached to the welded fitting must be left loose until the engine is almost in position, this will ensure the rotation of the hose is in a relaxed position.  For future engine pulls the hose can be quickly disconnected from the pump.
